Worship Opportunities

Everyone is invited to join us in Christian worship, the glad response by individuals through heart, soul, strength and mind!
The worship services are a celebration of the good news of God's love for all the world. They are based on scriptural text which is supported by prayers, confession, musical offerings by various choirs, soloists, ensembles and instrumentalists. There is a special children's message for all children.
Special Children's Bulletins are available for children up to 12 years old during worship, also. Infant care is provided.
FELLOWSHIP TIME is at 10:00am, between services in the Meeting Room. All are welcome!

COMMUNITY LENTEN SERIES
WEDNESDAYS AT 7:00 PM
Five churches of Elizabethtown are sharing in Wednesday evening Lenten services. This year’s theme will be Christ’s parables.
The services are designed to be about an hour in length. The offering will be given to the emergency care of those in need of shelter, medicine, and other critical necessities. The schedule is as follows:
February 24 - St. Peter Catholic Church

LENTEN CANTATA
MARCH 21, 2010

On Sunday, March 21, 2010 at both the 9:00 & 10:30 AM services, the Chancel Choir will be performing an Easter Cantata. “The Triumph Song Of Life” was edited and arranged by Patrick M. Liebergen, with narration provided by Jean Anna Shafferman. The musical texts and the dramatic narrative effectively recall the triumphal entry into Jerusalem, the betrayal and the Last Supper, the crucifixion, and the resurrection of Jesus. This passion Cantata includes music from Beethoven, Gounod, Hammerschmidt, Handel, Mendelssohn, and Telemann. Please plan to worship with the choir at one of these services. There will be opportunities for you to sing along with parts of the cantata, so remember to bring your best singing voice.
