FALL WORSHIP SCHEDULE RESUMES
September 12, 2010
Autumn is a season of change - changing temperatures, changing colors, and eventually changing our clocks. The season's other name is fall, so called because of the "falling leaves" and the Earth slowly falling away from the sun. The first day of autumn is celebrated on the fall equinox when both the length of night and day are equal. It's a time to reflect, to gather new tools, and to prioritize. God calls us to be autumn people ... to be in the process of growing and changing, whatever us needed for our transformation. May we be grateful for the spiritual harvests of a year gone by and open to the many opportunities to experience the wisdom and the love of God.
We will resume our regular worship schedule on September 12, 2010, with two services of worship at 9:00 and 10:30 AM. As we gather on this day, we will celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion, remembering the covenant we share with God. Also, during the 10:30 worship service, it will be our pleasure to present Bibles to our youth entering the Fifth Grade.
