SEPTEMBER IS COMMUNITY SPECIAL NEEDS MONTH
With the ending of the lazy days of summer, reality of the present economic situation comes into focus. Now, more than ever, the Elizabethtown Food Bank seeks help from our community's churches. For September, Christ Church members are urged to help replenish the Food Bank with the items listed below. Large packaged items are always useful to larger families, but smaller packages address the needs of single and two-member families more effectively. Monetary gifts are always welcome, too. Checks should be made out to Christ Church UCC, and designated for the Food Bank, then given to Jean Fasching or placed in the offering plate. Food donations are to be placed on or under the table at the front of the sanctuary and will be collected until September 30. Your generosiy is so greatly appreciated!
