Pastor's message
"I’m delighted that you have chosen to explore this church--a church that God established in 1743 and has given to us for its continuing care, growth and ministry. It is a privilege for all of us here to build upon our heritage and assume the responsibility for spreading God’s love to others and allowing others to know that God is still speaking for peace and justice.
We’re excited about God’s ministry at Christ Church which is not just contained within our brick walls! We try very hard to “set God loose” with our devotion and commitment to extending God’s hand and outreach to others. During Christ’s ascension, Christ gave us these words. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” With our hands and our resources we strive to follow Christ’s command in the local community, in the wider communities and in the world.
We welcome you here no matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey. It is our desire that everything that happens in our church is at least intended to reinforce people’s best hopes for themselves and the world. It is our prayer that you will find here a warmth of fellowship and a depth of Christian love and faith that will help make your life complete."
